I write under three different names: Riley Danvers (poet/nonfiction/literary work), J.D. Brubaker (horror/fantasy/sci-fi/speculative fiction), and R.J.D.D. (Instagram poet).

On this website you will find the random musings of an author/poet, writing prompts, links to my published pieces, reviews of books I simply can’t stop talking about, and all things writing and literature based. I’ll also ramble on about other nerdy stuff. This is also a space for me to write about my life, its many struggles, victories, losses, and moments of beauty. I see this blog as an (almost) memoir in real time – a public journal of who I am and how I’m evolving.
